As always, there are more eating establishments, businesses, and shopping opportunities this year that are coming to Mt Juliet, Providence area!
Nashville Motorcars will offer upscale means of transportation. They will be located on Belinda Parkway, in the same area as the new Honda dealer and Two Rivers Ford.
Across the street, Exxon is building a new gas station/market. This will come in handy, as right now the only option on that side of S. Mt Juliet Road to get gas is at the Kroger store. I’m sure this gas station will do well. I’m betting that all three of those auto dealerships will be getting their gas there.
Lifeway is now in the process of closing. I love Lifeway and I hate that! If you love Lifeway, you will still be able to order from them via the internet.
I understand that there is already someone planning to occupy the space that Lifeway now occupies that will make the ladies happy. That’s all the info that I have at this time.
Across the street from Lifeway, Haagen Daz Ice Cream is going to open.
Just across I-40 in the Culvers/Cheddars area, Slotzsky’s Deli will be coming soon.
There is also a rumor of something like Dave and Busters will be moving into the area beside the new “At Home” store. I’m sure that will make the kids happy.
So… with the kids happy and the ladies happy, can the guys head over to Nashville Motorcars and get something? Makes sense to me! lol
There are also two more hotels in the pipeline. I’m not sure about the locations of those yet. One is expected to be in the Hilton brand and the other will be a Marriot brand hotel. Wilco, the county agency that promotes tourism, is encouraging people that are coming to Nashville to stay in Wilson County where the housing is a bit cheaper. Then, as they stay in Wilson County, they should also spend some time and money exploring Wilson County.
I hope you have enjoyed keeping up a bit with everything that is going on in my hometown. It’s changed tremendously since I was a kid but I’m really happy that we’ve been able to keep the friendly atmosphere as more people come.
