If you’re looking for a Mount Juliet Easter Egg Hunt, make sure to check out the Connect Church Helicopter Drop! It will take place on Saturday, April 13th at Charlie Daniels Park. The even will begin at 11:00 a.m. and go until 2:00 p.m.
The park is located right off of Mount Juliet Road on the North side of Mount Juliet. From N. Mount Juliet Road, turn onto Charlie Daniel’s Parkway, beside Sonic, and the park is at the end of the road. Attenders are encouraged to park at the Mt Juliet Middle School.
This Mount Juliet Easter Egg Hunt/Egg Drop will truly “rain eggs.” A helicopter will deliver many of the eggs by dropping them from the sky. It’s really a fun and exciting event for the kids. In all, there will be about 75,000 eggs for the kids to hunt. That’s right! SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND EGGS, will be on the ground for the picking!
Besides the Egg Drop, there will be other excitement, too! There will be food trucks on site for drink and food purchases. There will be a variety of trucks available.
The event will end with a special performance by Christian recording artist, Aaron Shust. Aaron Shust has recorded many Christian hits, including “My Savior, My God,” which has been sung in many churches. Everyone is encouraged to stay for the concert and enjoy the music with their friends, family, and the community.
Connect Church, the church sponsoring the event, is a church plant that meets at the Wilson Central High School. They have two services each Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00. Pastor Devin Webb and the people of Connect Church would love for you to take a visit. If you don’t have a church to attend on Easter, you should give Connect Church a try!
