Eddie Poole: Hey everybody! If it seems like things are changing constantly, day to day, I’m with you. Well, it was a beautiful day today, but then what? Last week at the beginning of the week, we saw snow? This is crazy. I’m Eddie Poole with Keller Williams Realty. I hope you and your family are staying safe. I wanted to give you a few stats on the local housing market and how things are going right here in Mount Juliet.
If you wanted to look at homes today, there would be 310 homes that are active that you could possibly look at or consider buying. Now, the average sales price are $444,000 and the median sales price is $390,000. 149 of those 310 homes, they’re existing homes. In other words, somebody had lived in them before. 161 of them are new construction, so some of them may not be built yet. Now, 202 homes built before 2020 have been listed and gone under contract within the past 30 days. So that’s during the COVID-19 quarantine, we’ve had 202 homes listed and gone under contract. That’s incredible.
Interest rates are still low, usually in the three percent-ish range. So that’s good for both buyers and sellers. So even in all of this craziness and the quarantine and everything, one thing has stayed the same. Some people still need to buy and some people still need to sell. So if you need to sell your home, I’ll be glad to send you a video telling you how I would market your property. I’ll also do research and get you a free home value.
