October Mt Juliet Update

Mt Juliet continues to grow.  Here’s my October Mt Juliet Update!

Starting off, there are two new eating places that are slated to open soon in Mt Juliet.  Both are located in the Mid-Town Mt Juliet area in the building beside the railroad tracks.  “Local Joe’s Cafe” hopes to be open by Christmas.  Joe Perricone, former owner of “Our Place Cafe” in Mt Juliet, is the owner.  Joe tells me that his new venture will also be a meat and 3.  It will feature new decor that will be attractive to the younger generation.  Joe’s new place will feature a carving station, LOTS of desserts, and fruit tea.  I’m sure those things are just the tip of the ice berg for all that Joe has planned for the new place.

Yummy Pho Bac is also scheduled to open in the same building.  (That’s the building where BarBCutie used to be located.  Jet’s Pizza would be in the middle of the two new places.) . Yummy Pho Bac will be a Vietnamese and Thai Restaurant.

“Project Sam” is the code name for a HUGE warehouse and office space that is going through the steps to build on Golden Bear Parkway.  Many believe that this project is actually Amazon.  The building will be 5 stories and over 3 MILLION square feet.  80,000 square feet is planned to be office space.  The rest will be warehouse space.  This should bring lots of more jobs to the area.

Two assisted living facilities are also being built in Mt Juliet.  One will be on Belinda Parkway and the other will be on Lebanon Road beside the Oakhall/Timber Trail neighborhood.  (By the way, I understand the traffic light at the entrance to the neighborhood is now on the way also.  That’s a much needed addition.  It’s hard to get out of the neighborhood at times with the traffic.)

The greenway between North Greenhill Road and the Mt Juliet Train Station is also well underway.  That will give our city a nice touch, as another opportunity for walkers, runners, or bikers can exercise safely without being on the roadways.

If you’re in need of a real estate agent, I’d love to help.  I moved to Mt Juliet with my family in 1972, so I know what the area used to be and I know the area today.  I also have the experience that you need from an agent.  Don’t trust your largest investment to an inexperienced agent.  Call me!  615-973-4663
