One of the fun events for Mount Juliet is just around the corner! A “Taste of Mount Juliet” is sponsored by the Mount Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club each year. The event gathers 20-30 local eating places under one roof and for one price. Participants get to go from booth to booth, eating and sampling each restaurant.
If you’re new to the area, it’s a great way to decide which places you would like to visit! If you’re from the area, it’s a greatevening to connect with friends and have a great meal, that’s a little out of the ordinary.
The event will take place on Friday, April 26th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Mount Juliet High School on Curd Road.
The list of participating restaurants is HUGE! Here’s a list, though participants are subject to change, but whoever is there, it’s always an awesome time!
Blue Coast Burrito, Buffalo Wild Wings, Catch 22, ChicFilA, Cracker Barrel, Courtneys, Culvers, Granny’s Kitchen, Greek Couisine Cafe, Gourmet Donuts, Houston’s, Jett’s, Juice Bar, Kona Ice, Martin’s BBQ, Nothing Bunt Cakes, Panera Bread, PDK Southern Pantry, River Front Tavern, Salsarita’s, Sugar Roos Bakery, Sweet Biscuit Company, Tazikis, and T&L Honey/TNT Dips. (Remember, the list is subject to change beyond our control.)
I would encourage you to get to the school early and get a good parking spot. If you’re early, you can maybe “zip” through each booth a bit more quickly too, as people will be arriving throughout the event.
This is a great family event, and there is even a price break for families. A family ticket is $45. Individual tickets are $20/each. Seniorsare $15.
Perhaps the best part of the even is that the proceeds go through the Mount Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club and will stay in the community. Rotary provides funds to help great organizations throughout the year, such as the Mt Juliet Baseball Park, Big Brothers, Sherry’s Run, the Wilson County Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Local Public Library. In fact, for each speaker that comes to Rotary, a book is donated to the local public library in their name.
If you want to come to the event and need a ticket, let me know. I will be glad to meet you and get the ticket to you. Give me a call or text message at 615-973-4663. You can also send me an email at Eddie@EddiePoole.com
I hope to see you at the Taste of Mount Juliet!

Their list of restaurants is awesome. Chick-Fil-A is always a crowd favorite. The best donuts in the county, Gourmet Donuts, they’ll be there. Courtney’s…. they’ll be bringing buffalo chicken casserole and blackberry cobbler, from what I hear. Other restaurants like Martins Barbecue, BW3, Kona Ice, Catch 22, Blue Coast Burrito, and lots more are going to be there.
Hey, if you need tickets, I can hook you up! An adult ticket is $20. A family pass this 45. A senior ticket is 15, and a child pass is $5. Just give me a call or send me a message.
